Through its efforts, HBRAMA has firmly established itself as a leading voice in the homebuilding and remodeling industry.

Mike will provide an update on current work underway at Government Affairs and the Commonwealth.
Emerson Clauss III, is Senior Project Manager at Landmark Associates, LLC and has served as president of the Home Builder and Remodelers Association of Massachusetts as well as the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston. Emerson has extensive field knowledge on building Accessory Dwelling Units. Who want to build an ADU?

This presentation will cover what must be considered when building either an attached or detached ADU.

Christopher Lee, CEO, Backyard ADU's. Chris and his company are focused on enabling scale ADU construction and modularly constructed multi-family dwellings in New England.

Chris has had a diverse set of experiences that extends from being a landlord, developing small multi-family projects and building tech for use in the financial services. He holds a Bachelors of Science from the University of East Anglia (UK) in Business Finance and Economics.

To date, Chris and his business partner have overseen the design and construction of over 75 Modular ADUs/SF family homes. The team is currently scaling Backyard ADUs to accommodate 2 ADUs per week by Q4 (from 1/week),  and up to 100 multi family units in 2026. All construction is done predictably and quickly using volumetric modular construction.

With the ADU Home Rule in Massachusetts, there is a growing ADU movement that presents a great opportunity for business growth for Builder and Remodelers.
