BRAGB Open House | Net Zero Chainsaw Retrofit
Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at a Net Zero chainsaw retrofit that applies Passive House principles to an existing home. This project features high-performance mechanical systems, a robust control-layer strategy using SIGA and VaproShield, and advanced thermal solutions from TimberHP....all working together to deliver airtightness, durability, and long-term comfort.
This open house is ideal for architects, builders, engineers, carpenters, and energy professionals interested in deep energy retrofits and real-world high-performance challenges and strategies. Top Notch Contracting is opening its doors to share how they approach green building while remaining practical and budget-conscious for designers and clients alike.
A group of 5–6 distributors involved in the project are expected to attend, bringing displays, literature, and product handouts to showcase the systems used in the renovation. We are also working to include local vocational carpentry students to provide exposure to the project and its building approaches.
